To become strong we need also to inform and educate our listeners like putting tough questions to our leaders. Our media don't do that. On the contrary, they mollycoddle indians by feeding them with fake news and narratives, and shield the political class from criticism of their voters. That's not the way. Crisis is now defused, we need to not only ask questions but also question the answers. With all due respect to our FM, why the diplomatic initiative and support India built was snatched away from away us in a moment of crisis needd to be analysed threadbare! Indians are now calling for boycotting Turkey and citing the tents and blankets sent to Turkey during earthquake as aid and expected "payment" in form of a complete shift in their foreign policy. meanwhile, Pakistan gave its ace-pilots to fight shoulder to shoulder with Turkey on its Syrian issue, and Turkey just demanded it without prior notice. Pakistan came through, and when it was Pakistan needing help, Turkey came through. Turkey didn't just give statements, they actually sent their navy to fight alongside Pakistan. India is never taking on a Nato force - and Turkey knows it, Pakistan knows it and so does Modi. That's how you forge friendships.

That's not how the world in the 21st century works. Had Pakistan further escalated and it turned into a full on war, we would've needed external support. That's just how it is. Even the most developed nations in the world, like the U.S., China, Russia, etc. rely on alliance before full scale military missions. Pakistan alone might not beat us, but they certainly do significant damage. (also, if we don't need "external validation" why has our PM been trying so vigorously to improve our global relationships? Why become North Korea and do things by ourselves?)

If we continued to ponder what others will think then we would have kept on thinking and couldn’t achieved this mission. We can’t please everyone outside the home or inside. For ex: Yesterday America said we wouldn’t interfere. The next day they said we mediated the ceasefire. What India did is an absolute perfection. India acted like an upcoming super power.

Great analysis. Being a Pakistani watching jaishankar giving befitting reply to foreigners on international forums fascinated me as well. We use to think why can't we have a foreign minister like that. But now we understood that it was only good to see in the reels but not good when it comes to actual diplomacy. You can actually do that when you are a super power and not just in the race to become a super power. Its now understood that Diplomacy is what pakistan did having both the support of the two giants China and USA when it mattered.

Even locals don't go to distant mountainous areas without expert advice n expert Tourist staff to accompany r guide like Basaran Valley in Phalgam. Kashmir has been thronged in the wrong way,the Environmental damage is catastrophic. There are bars to commercial Tourism,only sextive thronging should be allowed. But No....Stomping Kashmir n it's People is not the way to go. These are foot hills of Mighty Himalays, for the sanctity.... areas need protection.
