Man. I see so many loopholes where I can pay $0 on tax for the rest of my life. Exciting.
@anthonyh123
lol at rich kids not paying a cent in taxes on their inherited 30 million dollars followed by, woohoo, the child tax credit increasing by 200 bucks!
@Joe-w5b7p
Yeah i feel bad for workers. I didnt vote for this even though I may benefit
@Juiceboxer0
sucks a little bit...There's so many cuts for people that need it and the lower class has literally no money to invest. Especially long term. I get the picture but many will be left in the dust. It's sad. So much to go around yet it just goes to those that have no lack of food.
@josspa93
It’s definitely harsh but the truth is you don’t know the reason why those people are in those situations. We all are free to make choices, it’s not the government’s responsibility to ensure people are freely making the choices that would enabling them to move up in life. Also the majority of people don’t even have the financial literacy to invest (even if they have the money) so it’s not even about class.
@CindyTemple
Welfare is being abused and to say otherwise is unrealistic. Many of us have witnessed this ourselves. This bill makes sure those who do need it are protected as far as I can see. What kind of lower class investment are you proposing? Help with job training? More free stuff?
@ljb5163
No one is abusing our system more than billionaires. It’s wild to me that billionaires have convinced a bunch of middle class people that poor people are the problem in our country… absolute insanity.
@rusk3986
it’s not just more beneficial to the wealthy, it actually hurts the poorest. Even the no tax on tips up to 22k, hardly a real benefit at all since you’d take the standard deduction most of the time if you were making that little anyway (frequently hourly pay is 2.15).
This bill is evil. I’m pretty well off and I feel disgusting taking more when I know how badly so many are struggling.
@Halcon_Sierreno
That sounds like something a 5 year old would name.
@kingogames16
I work at a casino. The tax cut on tips is a huge deal for casino employees
@bellajones12345
That's not the majority of ppl on Medicaid. Pray that you don't get sick and are unable to work cos you're gonna suffer because of this bill. Pray. Plus, if you have private health insurance, your premiums are going to be higher because the hospitals that eat up the cost for those unable to pay for care, pass the cost onto the premiums and general cost of care for everyone. Good luck!
@Scrizot
Tips should never be taxed as this is a non obligatory cash gift from one citizen to another. This money as already been taxed when earned by the tip giver so taxing it is essentially double dipping
@kaizersosai8560
Having eligibility checks for snap isn't a bad thing. I know plenty of people in my family who are capable of working are not. Thry live off my taxes and take vacations to Disney.
@TheHaratashi
Thank you for an unpolitical unbiased obxtive review. When the left and right just point fingers at each other it doesn't help us at all. We just need the real facts. Thank you.
@Emanuelgamer1313_BACKUP
I agree. I have seen so many left and right videos over the last days, with both just pointing fingers at eachother and calling eachother bad things. This has to stop. The polarization has to stop.
@jimh3500
Able bodied adults without dependents, people under 18 y/o or over 65 y/o, and undocumented migrants are the people who will feel the pressure that the OBBB brings us. Of course many people are going to be nervous about what it means for their households. Fair enough. If someone is able to work and they aren’t elderly or have children at home, then they should be contributing to their own upkeep.
@brownet83
So ppl in America don’t want to work? They just want free money that taxpayers give from their hard work? I’m not American but I’m honestly trying to understand what in Africa is basically normal cos here if you don’t work, you don’t eat. I mean over 60s get monthly pension with the disabled but disabled ppl are uated by Doctors and a council reviews if they’re eligible. This is reviewed every 2-3 years to review if they’re eligible and still need that grant. Some improve with physio so they get taken off and need to find a job.
Maybe I’m wrong. We all work to eat and it’s frustrating to us with better jobs(we spent on school to get better jobs) but we pay a lot of tax just to support the rest of the “non-working” citizens.
@jimh3500
Too many people in America who can work do not want to work. So they can easily get on the social welfare programs. The eligibility requirements are being tightened up. Young healthy people with no children are going to have to find work. Some will receive less in benefits and some will no longer receive any benefits at all.
I wish you peace in Africa
@brownet83
that's reasonable, i think it's just being lazy. i mean...who ever just gets things for free? the world doesnt owe you anything. i think that's one of the reasons why foreigners really succeed in other countries cos they come to work, they know that country has no obligation to take care of them so they need to work. thanks for clearing this, cos i was honestly shocked at the reactions.
@TiffanyClark-n4d
I am working but I don't make enough to pay for insurance so I get Medicaid that's it I don't want to loose it I need it and I'm through a temp agency cause that's all I've been able to find so temp agencies don't always offer ins n if so it's so expensive and I can't afford to loose my Medicaid for me n my kids I still pay taxes so I don't see why I cant have Medicaid I dont have snap or any other assistance
@50calpulse76
Its not government funded it's tax payer funded. These assistance programs were never designed to be a carrier. Short term im ok with but not indefinitely
@devonavant3497
Sounds like the bill will benefit business owners and holders of assets to keep profits and not owe the government as much. If American govt truly wants the country to be the wealthiest, it’s starts with its citizens having wealth.
@daftrok
Increasing the debt ceiling to higher than the Iraq war and giving huge cuts for the top 0.2%-1% is insanity. Wealth disparity is getting out of control and even from a cold hearted business standpoint, if renters cant affoed health-care, thats bad for small business and landlords. I would rather pay more taxes so that renters and customers are more consistent and have a better quality of life.
@Hokie11
people like you talk about “they” as if they’re not Americans, when in fact they’re just like you and I. The majority of people in this country who struggle to get by is the result of circumstance. A poor kid in Chicago’s intercity, or a poor kid growing up in a rustic house on the plains of Nebraska, will never have as much opportunity as other people who were born into better circumstances. No amount of work will get them or their families out of their holes. The wealth disparity in this country is the worst it has ever been, nearly to the point where the middle class is once but a dream. So yeah, I would rather pay a little bit more in taxes to help those people out and give them better access to health care, child support, parental leave, etc.
If we continue to go down this road, it will never get better. You can’t call yourself a patriot if you’re willing to let millions of people across this country suffer. They’re Americans. We help each other. And this country will never reach its potential until everyone starts to realize that and pull it together as one people.
@TJandJalena
Just look at how many people are abusing Medicaid and SNAP. Their 65 year old grandmother can be eligible for these programs but who do you think is really receiving those food stamps? People with fulltime jobs are abusing this program. That is just a fact. Great breakdown!
@rauljrlara9994
Long story shortrt. This is benefitting companies . Trump wants people to start their own business. Many can argue this is meant to destroy our middle class, others will argue , it pushes middles class to own a business and het ahead of these tax credits
@davehasenford3985
It's all unnecessary. Our country does not need more wealth. We need less debt. We need health care for the poor. We need to continue to transition to a new energy economy. We do not need more trust-funders
@chivalryisdead6440
Sounds like a lot of benifits for low class working families at the expense of the social security system forcing people to take more personal responsibility.
But I think the real reason behind this bill is raising the governmental debt ceiling. That is really bad.
@shadowofpain8144
It is who and what republicanism is about no health care or insurance for the poor only the rich deserve it.

If you pass a bill that you know is going to throw 15 million Americans off of their health coverage, resulting in Fifty Thousand unnecessary deaths per year, Is it not pre-meditated manslaughter? And aren't all that passed it guilty of conspiracy to commit manslaughter? Seriously

@??ì?p?_?ō?s
It’s really sad to see how much money seems to control everything in America. When laws only help the richest 1%, and powerful people like P. Diddy can avoid consequences even when serious accusations are against them, it shows that having money gives you a free pass. It feels like if you’re rich enough, you can even become president or escape justice. We should be working toward a system that treats everyone fairly, no matter their bank account.

These tax breaks for the rich are truly ridiculous. We've been alternating between the parties since Reagan and it seems like on this issue and many others, with every Democratic president we take 1 step forward and with every Republican president we take 10 steps back.

This bill is disgusting and infuriating. When Trump was president eight years ago, he destroyed so much. With how much more power he has now, I can't fathom the possible calamity he may bring. I'm scared for the future, and I'm scared for the world as a whole.

Isn't it weird how an American named Thomas Paine wrote 'The Book on Common Sense', how what Bernie Sanders is saying is mostly common sense, but American Politicians aren't reflecting the founding principals that started United States in the First Place and made it Great. I mean...we got 'Taxation with Representation', but no Representation at all, otherwise 90% of the things that are Locally Made aren't Expensive.
